The Remake (Reggae Made in Kenya) Movement is a Kenyan based Reggae and Dancehall collective founded in 2019 by three uniquely gifted artistes, Nubian Flame, Kare and Maestro Macky. It is also home to a team of graphic and set designers, musicians and videographers.
The Remake Movement has shared the stage with Jah 9, Capleton, Freddie Mcgregor, Turbulence, Lavosti, Shamir among others. They have showcased at Cabaret Vert,Reggae Lake ,Hofmusik Open Air,Amsterdub Weekender, Nairobi Dub Club, Misitu Raha Chill n Grill, Rumble In The Jungle, Zote Face, Thursday Night Live and many others.
Their music is a lively experimental blend of different fusions of traditional African music, reggae and dancehall. They further define themselves as CULTURE SHIFTERS, with the main objective of putting the Kenyan Reggae sound on the global stage!
They released their highly anticipated first single STAY DANGEROUS in 2022, an instant fan favorite. ALUMPA LUMPE is the second single off a list of exciting international collaborative projects they are currently working on. These two records are produced by Rasta Warriors Records from Italy.
Hot on the heels of ALUMPA LUMPE, the collective released their second single of 2025, TWO FACE, a powerful collaborative project with Jamaican musician and producer, Jelliss.
The Remake Movement is currently promoting their new politically themed single MUST COME TO LIGHT released on February 17th 2026,to wide acclaim. March and April will also see the trio release a couple of singles building up to their highly anticipated debut EP to be released in mid-2026.
